Laser Therapy (Photobiomodulation)

Laser therapy is a gentle, non-invasive treatment that reduces pain and inflammation while supporting your dog’s natural healing. Whether your dog is recovering from injury or surgery, managing stiffness, or needing extra support alongside their massage sessions, this treatment helps improve comfort, movement, and recovery.

HOW THIS SUPPORTS YOUR DOG

Laser therapy is commonly used to support:

  • Arthritis and age-related stiffness - improving comfort and ease of movement

  • Muscle and soft tissue strain - helping reduce tension and soreness

  • Post-surgical healing and wound recovery - encouraging faster repair

  • Tendon and ligament support - assisting recovery and resilience

  • Active and agility dogs - enhancing recovery between workloads

HOW IT WORKS (Photobiomodulation)

Therapeutic light is delivered into the area of concern, passing through fur and skin to reach deeper tissues. At a cellular level, it stimulates damaged cells to repair and function more effectively.

This process, photobiomodulation (PBM) - supports tissue repair, reduces inflammation, relieves pain, and promotes faster healing. It is widely used in both human and veterinary rehabilitation.

A CALM AND SAFE ENVIRONMENT

Your dog will be comfortably supported throughout the session. Protective doggles may be used, and you’ll be provided with safety eyewear. Treatments are short (typically 5–10 minutes) and feel like a gentle warmth. Many dogs relax deeply - some even fall asleep.
